Hi, I'm Rebecca!

I've been playing piano since I was 6 years old, but it wasn't until I learned to create my own music that I truly fell in love with piano.

Which is why I created Rebecca's Piano Keys!
I feel so lucky that I get to help adult piano learners experience the joy of creating their own piano music!

I promise you, if you are still breathing, and you can wiggle your fingers, you are not too old to learn piano!
Will I be able to understand the information in this ebook even if I'm a beginner?
This ebook is intended for adult piano learners who have a little bit of experience already. But you don't need to be an advanced student! If you understand major and minor keys, all 4 types of triads, and how to read root/quality and functional chord symbols, you should be able to understand this ebook just fine!
Do I need to be able to read music in order to use this book?
No! I encourage you to learn to read music, but you can absolutely learn to create your own music without knowing how to read music. (Several famous musicians never learned to read music!) So I've created this book without any music notation, to make it accessible for all creative music learners!
Are there any diagrams and illustrations to help me understand the concepts presented in this book?
Absolutely! This book is full of full-colour keyboard diagrams, tables, and flow charts to help make the information as easily digestible as possible!
Is this book only for piano players?
Nope! The book focuses on piano for 2 reasons: the piano is my primary instrument, and the keyboard layout is linear, which makes the piano a really effective instrument to illustrate the concepts of music theory. But the music theory concepts themselves can be applied to other instruments as well, so guitarists and other musicians can also get a lot of value from this ebook!
